VirnetX Launches Gabriel Beta
Important Company Milestone
SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. – December 9, 2009 – VirnetX Holding Corporation (NYSE Amex: VHC), a secure real-time communications and collaboration technology company, today announced that it has started beta testing its Gabriel Connection Technology (Gabriel) software. Gabriel provides the only seamless, automated security platform for secure communications by next-generation Internet-based applications. Its foundational software combines industry standard encryption protocols with the Company’s patented techniques for automated domain system lookup mechanisms using secure domain names.
The Company is transitioning from internal Gabriel testing to include invited beta users from outside the company. This phase of beta testing is expected to last approximately 6 months.

Gabriel beta includes secure domain name registrar, registry and relay services. The computer modules automatically initiate authenticated encrypted connections between computers based on domain name lookups. On top of this security platform example applications will include secure instant messaging, file sharing and remote desktop access. At this time the beta supports the most popular Windows operating systems; XP Professional, Vista and Windows 7.

Joining the Gabriel beta will be Notify Technology Corporation (OTC BB:NTFY), a San Jose (Calif.) based, 70 person, technology company offering wireless products and services. “We are eager to be participating in the beta,” said Paul DePond, Notify Technology President and CEO. “We're looking forward to getting firsthand experience with the Gabriel technology.”
